Social Media Account Manager
(Full time position in Charleston, SC)
Are you passionate about social media trends before they hit the mainstream? Seed Social is looking for a Social Media Account Manager who's deeply plugged into platform culture — someone who can spot a shift in the algorithm, a new content format, or a shifting audience behavior, and turn it into growth for our clients.
You'll manage a roster of boutique hospitality and lifestyle accounts, producing scroll-stopping content and building real audience growth through strategic, trend-savvy storytelling. This isn't a "post and hope" role — you'll be expected to know what's working on Instagram and TikTok right now, and why, and translate that into measurable results for the brands you manage.
You'll work closely with clients and our internal creative team, bringing fresh ideas, sharp instincts, and hands-on expertise to every account.
The Role:
Client Strategy & Partnership
Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring their brand voice and story shine online
Stay alert to platform shifts that affect client strategy or content performance
Identify opportunities for audience growth and engagement
Collaborate with the internal creative team (Content Producer, Copywriter, and Senior Account Manager) to execute cohesive campaigns
Recommend creative strategies and share insights for ongoing optimization
Content Creation
Plan and manage monthly editorial calendars across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
Capture, curate, and edit content for Reels, TikToks, Stories, and carousels
Work closely with the content producer to provide input on client shoot directives and produce content during monthly shoots, events, or activations
Curate user-generated content to amplify brand reach
Help clients tell authentic stories that reflect their lifestyle and brand personality
Community Engagement & Growth
Monitor client accounts daily (comments, DMs, mentions, hashtags, location tags)
Engage with influencers, local businesses, and audiences to boost reach
Brainstorm and execute "social moments" like live feeds, takeovers, and interactive campaigns
Track performance metrics and KPIs, delivering insights to optimize engagement
Influencer & Affiliate Support
Maintain influencer and affiliate lists
Assist with influencer outreach and ongoing relationship management
Report results and engagement metrics to clients
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
2+ years of social media management experience (agency experience a plus)
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Social Media, PR, Communications, or related field
Deep knowledge of Instagram and TikTok
Skilled in creating Reels, TikToks, and Instagram Stories
Proficient in Canva and CapCut for content creationComfortable with project management tools (Notion, GAIN)
Strong communication skills and a strategic, growth-focused mindset
Passion for lifestyle, hospitality, or wedding brands
